Burma, Burma, Burma and more Burma

Posted by Henric C. Jensen on October 5, 2007

This Friday on my Blogs is going to be all about Burma – a country in need, a country in pain, a country wanting, yearning and pleading for Peace and Justice. Don’t forget, just because the news out-lets have no “bleeding leads” to put on the Front Pages.

Burmese groups urge support for weekend of prayer

What’s in a prayer? Love, care, compassion, concern, HOPE. So let’s all say a prayer for Burma this weekend – together with all of Burma. It doesn’t take much, since so many of us are going to some sort of worship any way.

  1. Monasteries again targeted in raids

Where is the news coverage – so no-one was killed today, but is that really journalism – reporting about deaths, and when no-one is killed, nothing is reported?
I had to go fetch this from Democratic Voice of Burma – it’s pathetic really.

Hi SB! Thanks for dropping by the Tree! I’m sorry I haven’t visited more often; I’ll do my best to do better… And I will definitely be taking time out this weekend to give some serious vibes towards Burma. That country is, indeed, suffering, and I’m happy to see that you’re trying to raise awareness about it…
