Protocols of the Elders of Zion and the Russian Revolution

Posted by Henric C. Jensen on May 29, 2007

As said in earlier, the Tzarists manufactured the Protocols as a means to discredit the Revolutionary Movement in Russia, playing into an already overheated Anti-Jewish sentiment. And indeed many of the Revolutionaries were Jewish, so it was a rather easy task:

Jewish participation among the Bolsheviks, plagued the Communists during the Russian Civil War against the Whites with a reputation of being “a gang of marauding Jews”; Jews comprised a majority in the Communist Central Committee, outnumbering even ethnic Russians. At the same time, the vast majority of Russia’s Jews, much like their ethnic Russian neighbours, were not in any political party.”

It would have been nice to able to say “and the rest is history…”, but alas the Protocols lived on. The same instrument that had served the Tzar’s Secret Police and the White Movement in their fight against the Bolsheviks, eventually became a tool in the hands of the Soviets as the sentiment gradually changed – much due to the resentment among non-Jewish Bolsheviks towards the back-lash during the Russian Civil War.

It might be that Lenin took a rather universalist view on Anti-semitism:

According to Lenin, antisemitism was an “attempt to divert the hatred of the workers and peasants from the exploiters toward the Jews.” Linking antisemitism to class struggle, he argued that it was merely a political technique used by the tsar to exploit religious fanaticism, popularize the despotic, unpopular regime, and divert popular anger toward a scapegoat. The Soviet Union also officially maintained this Marxist-Leninist interpretation under Stalin, who expounded Lenin’s critique of antisemitism.”

This theory didn’t much change anything for the Jews under Soviet Rule – Stalin was notorious for his witch-hunt on Jews within the Communist Party especially during the 1930’s. Though he “offered” Jews a socialist solution to the “Jewish Problem”, it didn’t attract more than approximately 30% of the Russian Jewish Population.

“To offset the growing Jewish national and religious aspirations of Zionism and to successfully categorize Soviet Jews under Stalin’s nationality, an alternative to the Land of Israel was established with the help of Komzet and OZET in 1928. The Jewish Autonomous Oblast with the center in Birobidzhan in the Russian Far East was to become a “Soviet Zion”. Yiddish, rather than “reactionary” Hebrew, would be the national language, and proletarian socialist literature and arts would replace Judaism as the quintessence of culture.

Those who refused or opposed the deportation (because one cannot call it by any other name) were “purged” as threats to Stalin’s Communist Despotism. It wouldn’t be fair to say that Stalin was directly influenced by the Protocols when he choose to get rid of people like Trotsky, Zinoviev, and Kamenev to mention a few high ranking Party members, but as Anti-Semitism was not “purged” by the Revolution, and still had a strong hold on the Russian Soul, it is fairly probable that Stalin found it easier to dispose of those Jews he saw as threats to his Empire, than he would have otherwise.

The Soviet policy in regards to the Jewish population was ambiguous – one the one hand they were not allowed to be Jewish on their own terms – and when they resisted “assimilation” they were either deported or killed as enemies of the state, on the other hand they were consistently refered to as “just citizens”. Despite the fact that they were massacred exactly for being Jewish inside Soviet Union as well as out-side.

“The typical Soviet policy regarding the Holocaust was to present it as atrocities against Soviet citizens, not emphasizing the genocide of the Jews. For example, after the liberation of Kiev from the Nazi occupation in 1943, the Extraordinary State Commission (Чрезвычайная Государственная Комиссия) was set out to investigate Nazi crimes and its first draft report was ready by December 25, 1943. It contained the following sentence:

  • “The Hitlerist bandits committed mass murder of the Jewish population. They announced that on September 29, 1941, all the Jews were required to arrive to the corner of Melnikov and Dokterev streets and bring their documents, money and valuables. The butchers marched them to Babi Yar, took away their belongings, then shot them.”

The officially censored version of the text was:

  • “The Hitlerist bandits brought thousands of civilians to the corner of Melnikov and Dokterev streets. The butchers marched them to Babi Yar, took away their belongings, then shot them.”

Not even in their deaths were they allowed to be Jews.

The ideas from the Protocols do not surface clearly until after WWII, when the Stalinist Government executed several state-sponsored pogroms on Jewish Intellectuals, Artists, Poets and writers, most notably those who wrote in Yiddish (19 48; 19521953).

“In November 1948, Soviet authorities launched a campaign to liquidate what was left of Jewish culture. The members of the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee were arrested. They were charged with treason, bourgeois nationalism and planning to set up a Jewish republic in Crimea to serve US interests.”

This is also the first time a connection between Anti-Semitism and Anti-Zionism is established within the Radical Far Left.

See how the pendulum has swung? From socialist traitors under the Tsar to bourgeois traitors under Stalin – and still considered plotting… The Jew behind it all…

Protocols of the Elders of Zion – some interesting ideas about it

Posted by Henric C. Jensen on May 28, 2007

“Those who feel libeled by the Protocols have the most obvious remedy in the world; all they have to do is to ruse and denounce the policy of them, instead of denying the authorship … But when you come to read them how can any reasonable man deny the truth of what is contained in them??” Norman Jaques, M.P., in Canadian House of Commons, July 9th, 1943.

Indeed – admit that you are undoubtedly conspiring to take over the world and denounce your policies – because denying authorship is futile, we all know that you are lying anyway. After all you are “the Jews”, and we all know what “they” are like… Doesn’t leave much room for anything does it – like the question “Have you stopped beating your Wife yet?”

“Whence come this uncanny note of prophecy, prophecy in part fulfilled, in parts far gone in the way of fulfillment? Have we been struggling these tragic years to … extirpate the secret organization of German world dominion only to find underneath it, another, more dangerous because more secret? Have we … escaped a Pax Germanica only to fall into a Pax Judaeica?” The Times, London, May 8th, 1920.

It is no wonder that people ascribe the Protocols to “the Jews” – after all, it was exposed in the newspapers. If it’s in the Times, it must be the truth. Not much have changed since 1920 – people still invariably believe blindly what is written by the Press. But why? Why does otherwise reasonable and sincere people believe in the Protocols? Because they need something to fight, something to feel passionate about, and because the idea of “secret societies” plotting against them remove their responsibility for the miseries of their own lives, it did it then and it does it now. One could also see the idea of this document as being a prophecy, that there are two kinds of prophecy – prophecy and self-fulfilling prophecy and the latter is far more accurate than the former.

In post WWI Europe, victorious over the Germans, yet torn, beaten, hurt and financially depleated another enemy was needed to rouse the People to rise above their hardships – and if that meant conveying age-old ideas of the devious Jew, then so be it.

Panem et Circences. “Throw the Jews to the Lions! It will be spectacular!”

“The thoughtful reader must reject the view, once held by some people, that the Protocols originated as an imaginative work of miraculous accuracy. The only rational view seems to be that the Protocols must be taken on their face value as a detailed plan of action, aiming at nothing other than the goal they themselves set forth. This goal is a World State which the nations are being urged by their leaders to accept as “the only alternative to annihilation.” This is the choice which our politicians are offering us today.” Victor E. Marsden, Preface to the PEZ, 1920.

While this preface takes care not to name the Jews or even the Title, it does take for granted that the Protocols are in fact a detailed plan for World Dominance. If one wants to let the Jews off the hook but still need a conspiracy theory, on can always implicate the Freemasons, the Anti-Xian Atheists or just one’s own Government…or secret community of Governments…

“I can only state that this is a manifesto of the shadow government strongly rooted in the Manifest Destiny philosophy and agenda. Who is actually involved in its creation and implementation is not known and therefore I cannot comment beyond what has been said above. We can conclude from current world events what nations are foremost in promoting the ideals set forth in this document.”

The possibilities are innumerable, if you really try – and it can be connected over decades and centuries – the Bolshevihks of Russia, secretly infiltrated by the Global Jews, move forward in time, become suicidal around 1930-1945 end up dead, but manages to escape the jaws of Hell, only to emmigrate to Palestine to continue their devilish work. From there they, all according to plan, branch out to finally end up flying planes into the Twin Towers for which they subsequently blame themselves for the atrocities…

It is really simple. All you need are some plausible ingredients, like a disaster, terror attack, shady people under trees nearby the disaster area, a few messages sent and received, a couple of rumors that certain people miraculously escaped unavoidable death, you shake it and voíla! Your very own Conspiracy Theory – and if you place a couple of Jews strategically on the fringe, people are going to eat it like candy.

The things people believe…

The Protocols of the Elders of Zion – Hoax or Reality?

Posted by Henric C. Jensen on May 28, 2007

The Source and the Reason

In 1864 French satirist Maurice Joly wrote a novel titled “Dialouge in Hell between Machiavelli and Montesquieu: or the Politics of Machiavelli int he nineteenth century” for those of you who read French – here’s a free E-book.

In 1899 or 1901 a Russian secret agent of the Orahka branch in Paris was ordered to write something that would discredit the Bolshevihks. He used Maurice Joly’s novel as a base for his fantasies. So how come the Jewish people were implicated?

Well the author – Matvei Golovinski – also got his hands on another novel. “Biarritz” written by Herrman Goedsche in 1868, in which Goedsche describes a fictional nightly meeting of Rabbinical representatives of the 12 tribes of Israel consorting with the Devil to plan a Jewish Conspiracy.

The chapter “The Jewish Cemetery in Prague” in “Biarritz” was documented as non-fictional in France in 1871, and reached Russia in 1872. The rest is history.

The only thing in the Protocols that identify the alleged authors behind it as Jewish is the use of the word “goyim” (gentiles) – and in this way it is both rather moderate and insidious, because “goyim” is probably the most well known Hebrew word out-side the Jewish Community it would send the message without much problem.

So why implicate the Jews? Because they were there. And because there already was a strong Anti-Jewish sentiment in Russia and in Europe at the time. In 1881-1884 Russia was engulfed in Anti-Jewish riots following the assassination of Tsar Alexander II, which was alleged to have been carried out by Jews (the truth of this has later been investigated and found to be false – the only Jewish element in that assassination was the fact that one of the assassins had a Jewish friend…).

It becomes pretty clear against this background that the Protocols had to “target” the Jews. Especially since a large number of Bolshevihks were indeed Jewish – and the Tsarists needed a “diversion” – something that would stir up enough emotions in the general Russian Public to hold off the Revolutionary elements that were threatening the Russian Empire.

“Conspiracy theories are very “nice” – because they create a simply picture of complex matters, and they contain enough elements of plausibility to be believable. And they provide people with a scape-goat for the world’s ills. It doesn’t matter if it’s religious conspiracies, political conspiracies or just alien conspiracies – they all serve as proxy for a sense of powerlessness and in the right hands they can be deadly…”

It is rather interesting how a French Novel that was meant to expose the Napoleon Empire came to play such a big role in the Russian Revolution…

The Protocols of the Elders of Zion has been debunked and re-debunked so many times by so many that I really don’t need to do it again – I’ll just leave you with some links to Web Sites that discuss the Protocols.

Hugo Chavez – an example of Ethical Progressivism??

Posted by Henric C. Jensen on May 27, 2007

“I actually know many Venezuelan refugees who take my classes here in … they want to flee their homeland because they see it as becoming another Cuba. I love hearing this, as I know Venezuela would be a bigger and better example than Cuba is.”

By the look of it is not only becoming another Cuba, it is becoming another Soviet Union…it seems that all that is missing is a Venezuelan Gulag.

Right now it’s a matter of Freedom of Expression – Chavez has decided to effectively silence the opposition to his 21st Century Socialism by making sure the TV-Station RCTV cannot broadcast. But we all know that “where they burn books, they soon start to burn people”.

The Guardian describe the Venezuelans as “a people who know that change is possible and who, in their everyday lives, are reclaiming noble concepts long emptied of their meaning in the west: “reform”, “popular democracy”, “equity”, “social justice” and, yes, “freedom”.

The Venezuelan people might be noble and all – I am sure they are – but their elected Leader seems more concerned with what is said about him among those that disagree with him, than with honoring the Venezuelan Democracy.

The Venezuelan Penal Code have gotten some rather horrifying and anti-democratic additions since Hugo Chavez was democratically elected by the Venezuelan People:

“Article 147: “Anyone who offends with his words or in writing or in any other way disrespects the President of the Republic or whomever is fulfilling his duties will be punished with prison of 6 to 30 months if the offense is serious and half of that if it is light.” That sanction, the code implies, applies to those who “disrespect” the president or his functionaries in private; “the term will be increased by a third if the offense is made publicly.” – “

“Article 444 says that comments that “expose another person to contempt or public hatred” can bring a prison sentence of one to three years; Article 297a says that someone who “causes public panic or anxiety” with inaccurate reports can receive five years. Prosecutors are authorized to track down allegedly criminal inaccuracies not only in newspapers and electronic media, but also in e-mail and telephone communications.”

So, Hugo Chavez doesn’t want to be disrespected…, well who does? But most of us choose to strive to earn other people’s respect by respecting their rights and freedoms – not so the democratically elected President of Venezuela – he chooses to silence anyone who dares criticize him, by closing them down and threaten them with heavy prison sentences if they do not comply.

Someone argued in response to the fact that 70% of the Venezuelans are opposed to the President’s decision to silence RCTV, that they do so because that will deprive them of their daily soap operas…that might very well be – but that is irrelevant – the fact is that Hugo Chavez is using his democratically elected position to restrict his people’s rights to receive any information they choose and to share any information they choose in public. In all particulars it means that the Venezuelan People does not have Freedom of Speech, which was once instituted to guarantee that people can safely criticize their government without reprisals.

That can in no way be called ethical, and if it is progressive, then G-d protect us from progressivism!

"I am not Anti-Semite!! – Stop harrassing me!"

Posted by Henric C. Jensen on May 26, 2007

Illustration is © Ketutar Jensen – used with permission.

The Illustration above is very telling – and true – point out to a Radical Far Leftist that his/her statements sounds Anti-Semitic, and he/she will furiously deny being an Anti-Semite – though no such accusation has been voiced. This, to me indicates the Radical Far Leftist is very much aware of being an Anti-Semite, and doesn’t want this fact to be publicly understood, because despite their profession to not really care about what people think about them, they are very sensitive to the stigma Anti-Semitism carries with it. Which is further evidenced by the fact that they more often than not hide their Anti-Semitism in violent Anti-Zionism.

So, are a person who uses Anti-Semitic expressions an Anti-Semite? Is someone who express themselves derogatory about Black people a Racist? I say that YES, they are.

Brian Klug, an Oxford research fellow and founder member of the Jewish Forum for Justice and Human Rights, states that “It is a staple of anti-Semitic discourse that Jews are a people apart, who form ‘a state within a state’.” He goes on to ask “What is anti-Semitism?” He defines an anti-Semite as one who sees Jews as “an alien presence, a parasite that preys on humanity and seeks to dominate the world. Across the globe, their hidden hand controls the banks, the markets and the media. Even governments are under their sway. And when revolutions occur or nations go to war, it is the Jews – clever, ruthless and cohesive – who invariably pull the strings and reap the rewards.

Brian Klug defines Anti-Semitism and Anti-Semites very well.

The Radical Far Left disagrees with me and Brian Klug on this:

“Just because I speak out against the Jews doesn’t make me anti-semitic.”

Off course you are not Anti-Semitic if you speak out against “the Jews” – it just makes you a Jew-hater… Like Wilhelm Marr . The logic of this statement is rather indicative of the up-side-down Orwellian Double-Speak that is the staple of Radical Far Left ideology:

Anti-Semitism is an unmistakable sign of solid mental health.” Horst Mahler, lawyer and human rights activist”

Hmm, so if you are not an Anti-Semite, you are by Radical Far Left standards mentally deranged. Welcome to the Asylum! This is just another version (see earlier blog entry) the idea that being Jewish is a disease that Jews need to recover from by ceasing to be Jews, though it doesn’t only target Jews, it also targets anyone who disagrees with the RFL’s ideology on the matter of “the Jewish Problem“.

“As an atheist, I say fight fire with fire. Let’s see how the Jews feel when the most painful part of their history gets mocked. […] “Why Jews? Well, why not? I say attack all if you want.”

Indeed. Let’s just create another version of the age old “The Jews Killed J*sus so let’s kill them”, after all they are not human – they are Jews…

“Although the holocaust may be a more than Jewish issue, it seems the Jews are monopolising it.”

How about Hitler monopolized the Jews for his genocide? Approximately 11 million people were killed in the Holocaust – for various reasons, disability, homosexuality, socialism, Catholicism, Lutheranism, being Romani or Black – and all those groups were killed because of something they could not change or would not change. And as such the Jews were no exception, except in one respect – they were the largest group ever to be targeted in this manner. Each of the other above groups have their Holocaust memories/Memorials one way or another, so why not the Jews?

“why aren’t you and her ashamed for what Jews are doing to others?”

What are the Jews doing to others? Let’s see…it seems the Radical Far Left owes a lot to the Jews:

The term Jewish left describes Jews who identify with or support left wing or liberal causes. There is no one organization or movement which constitutes the “Jewish left”. Jews have been major forces in the history of the US labor movement, the Settlement house movement, the women’s rights movement, anti-racist work, and anti-fascist organizing of many forms.

Many well-known figures on the left have been Jewish. These include people like George Soros, Howard Zinn, Noam Chomsky, Murray Bookchin, Eric Hobsbawm or Harold Pinter, who were born to Jewish families but have little connection to Jewish communities, Jewish culture or Jewish religion. It also includes people like Michael Lerner or Arthur Waskow, religiously devout and culturally identified Jews. And it includes many secular, cosmopolitan people who nonetheless remain connected to Jewish culture in some way, such as Emma Goldman, Rose Schneiderman, Muriel Rukeyser and Susan Sontag. Similarly, views regarding Zionism from the Jewish left can be quite varied, and are often independent of their other political and social views.

In the US in the last decade, the Jewish vote has gone to Democrats by 76-80% in each election, leading many to believe that the majority of American Jews are left-identified.

While many Jewish progressives root their politics in spirituality, there is also a long history of secular socialist and communist Jewish activist history (e.g. The Workmen’s Circle/Arbeter Ring) as well as anarchist-Jewish activism which denounced religion while publishing newspapers in Yiddish.”

Then of course we have Albert Einstein…many would say that he has done more for the Sciences of Mathematics and Physics than the rest of Modern Scientist since Issac Newton… There’s the fact that all legislation of the Modern Western World, including the idea of Human and Civil Rights are based in Jewish Law. Oh yes the the Jews have done plenty to others, and the majority is something to be proud of. So why would we be ashamed?

“It seems you don’t want peace. It seems you want to invade other people’s property, take it over, and rape their wives as well.”

“The fact is that by “you”, I mean Jews and the people who support them. I would guess you are Jewish, seeing as you host a Jewish group. “

This guy was addressing a person whom he had never met before – he had gotten the information that this person is Jewish and hosts a Torah Study Group, from that person’s profile page – the prejudice and the hatred is stunning – but very typical of the Anti-Semitism embraced by the Radical Far Left. I’ll just leave it as it is, as it really speaks for itself.

“Jews are fair game for criticism, seeing as Judaism is a religion.”

Aah. It is very important for the RFL to define who is a Jew, or rather what is a Jew – because they don’t want to be caught emitting racial/ethnical slurs, so they have great problems with the concept of “being Jewish” as a indivisible combination of ethnical, religious and cultural Identity – they NEED “Jewish” to be one or the other or the third – because that makes their “criticism” safe from being criticized. They like to use Karl Marx’ criticism of Judaism in his response to Bruno Bauer (On the Jewish Question) as a proof text that Karl Marx was an Anti-Semite who had understood the dangers inherent in the Jewish People – but they forget that Karl Marx, because he was himself Jewish, didn’t criticize “being Jewish”, only the practice of religion as such. “The social emancipation of the Jew is the emancipation of society from Judaism. I.e the goal is the social emancipation of the Jew – who will remain Jewish – by getting rid of the religious practices that in Marx’ mind is holding the Jew back from being part of Society – he doesn’t say one word about the Jew ceasing to be Jewish. The Jew can be Jewish as long as he is not religious. Marx was an atheist, and saw any kind of religion as straight-jacket put on the masses by the ruling class to control them.

You judge for yourself: Which is more probable – Marx was an Anti-Semite who was preaching the annihilation of his own people, or he was an atheist Jew who felt that the religious practices of Judaism was holding the Jewish people in Europe back from being all they could be?

Shalom

Why people spewing Anti-Semitism are not JOKES II

Posted by Henric C. Jensen on May 24, 2007

Illustration is © Ketutar Jensen – used with permission.

It seems that calling a spade a spade is not appreciated by the “general public” and causes the Powers That Be to interpret the laws of the land rather widely and arbitrarily for this reason I cannot attribute most of those quotes – but if you email me in private I will verify the authenticity. But no matter – the fact remains that Anti-Semitism flows through the ether, and despite what many believe is not a phenomenon of the Past.

So what do Modern Anti-Semitism look like – what do Modern Anti-Semites say, and what does it mean? I have written before about how people on the Radical Far Left with or without deliberation use the three concepts, Israelis, Jews and Zionists interchangeably. Those who do it deliberately do it because they have an Anti-Semitic agenda – they really truly believe that not only is there a Jewish conspiracy, they also believe that any Jewish person who does not publicly renounce their birth-right and themselves become Anti-Semites is a part of this conspiracy and a worthless human being – example from an earlier blog entry:

“In that sense, there is no such thing as a good Jew. For a Jew to become a valuable human being, they must recant Jewishness and become what’s known as a former or recovering Jew. They must embrace unreservedly the rest of mankind as their equals, regardless of their heritage, nationality, religion or race. They must become Earthians, no more and no less.” ( Jewish consciousness and the river of denial my bold)

It can hardly be said any clearer. The only good Jew is a Jew that is not a Jew. And as long as he is a Jews he is not human.

When Jews stop being anti-everyone except themselves will we be able to come to a peaceful understanding.”

This is just an echo of the old idea that a Jewish person has no loyalty for the country he was born and raised in, and will betray that country either in favor of other Jews or simply because he/she is Jewish. A modern repetition of the Dreyfus-affair in sentiment.

“There needs to be equality. If there were, then we would not have to condemn the Palestinians and find excuses for the Jews.

This is a really interesting statement, because it on one hand calls for equality, and on the other hand sets the entire Jewish People apart as something that is somehow being excluded positively from the rest of humanity. It also implies that the entire Jewish People needs to be excused for something; in this case something the author believes the Palestinians are being condemned for. This is a common reasoning on the Radical Far Left, if one is not condemning every Jewish person alive or dead for all the bad that happens to the Palestinians, one is making excuses for “the Jews”.

“I respect people’s right to their beliefs and think that this is just another ploy by the Americans and Jews to make the Muslims more equated to terrorism.

The Americans and Jews needed another example of how Muslims get too emotional and violent over what most of the world might deem as “trivial”.

“And when all is said and done, I’ll go a step further and say that the militant wings of Islam have been made possible by its oppressors. Yes, the U.S., Israel, and Jews around the world.

“There’s no denying that these 3 groups—Israelis, Jews elsewhere, and Americans, are working hand-in-hand to make Muslims look bad.

I “like” those four – that Muslims are being equated with terrorism is not the result of the actions of a few terrorists, but the doing of all Jews and all Americans…and how some Muslims re-acted to the Muhammad Cartoon Controversy is not the responsibility of those few Muslims, it’s was all orchestrated by the American s and the Jews, and that there are militants among Muslims is the doing of Israel, the US and all the Jews in the world. Then the idea that there is a conspiracy to make the Muslims look bad…all directed by the Jews, with some help from the Israeli and the Americans. Do you hear how this is beginning to sound like the screen-play for a filmatization of the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion”?

I don’t think it was a co-incidence that the PEZ originated in Pre-Leninist/Stalinist Russia, where the need for the rulers to control the masses through conspiracy-theories were greater than in the rest of Europe. That in my opinion is also why the PEZ is revered by the so many people on the Radical Far left, especially in this day and time – after all, in the Western World, enemies to do battle with are getting fewer and fewer, as more and more proletarians move up the social-economic ladder and become middle-class. See earlier entries

“Again, you are making ridiculous requests that I prove how every Jew around the world thinks. Haven’t you heard of representative populations?

This is a most “innovative” response to a protest against the author making blanket-statements about Jews as having some sort of “hive-mind” that makes them incapable of independent thinking, and the subsequent request that he give some substantial evidence of this.

“Representative populations…” Indeed Benjamin Disraeli was right about lies – there are three kinds, lies, damned lies and statistics. But it falls back to the idea that the Jewish People are somehow exclusive and disloyal because they are Jewish, or bound to follow some sort of Jewish party-line, regardless of their own personal inclinations.

Why are all of those quotes Anti-Semitism? Simply because they express prejudice against an entire People. One can easily substitute the word “Jew”/Jews” with “Black”/”Blacks” and then just sit back and wait for the angry “Racism!” retort from the Afro-American Community. Try it – just alter the statements to fit in “Afro-Americans” and see how it looks.

Those quotes are not Jokes, and not a laughing matter, because in the end they do target an entire People and make an entire People fair-game for all sorts of abuses – from discrimination in the work-place and schools to genocide. There is nothing funny about that. It wasn’t funny when the Romans did it, it wasn’t funny when Hitler or Stalin did it, and it is not funny now when Iran, the Radical Far Left, the Extreme Right and and their sympathizers do it.

The Radical Far Left often profess that they are not targeting all Jewish people, only the one’s in the Israeli government that are responsible for whatever bad things the Palestinians are going through that specific day, but if that was true, one really have to ask: Why not change the rhetoric to reflect this intention? After all, isn’t it better to be heard clearly than to be drowned out by accusations of Anti-Semitism and constantly having to explain that you are not criticizing the entire Jewish People?

Why people spewing Anti-Semitism are not JOKES

Posted by Henric C. Jensen on May 21, 2007

The guy ASKED me to expose him…“Dov started this because he had no retort and because he is on some kind of “mission” to expose me. Save me the dramatics. i wish he would expose me. PLEASE.”

I don’t usually comply with schmucks asking me things, but I decided to make an exception, to get it out of my system. Perhaps he functions like so many serial killers – he wants to get caught. So I say – flag the skit out of him.

I am also going to post this in “Judaism” and I am sending it to the ADL and the Green party in Canada – because, despite his assurances that “they” all know “who” he is I doubt they are aware of just how deep his anti-semitism runs.

Unfortunately Canadian Law excepts this kind of hate-speech in PUBLIC DEBATES, or I would send it to the law-enforcement in Montreal as well.

We all think of this guy as a joke, I know, but you know, they did the same about Hitler – they, the intellectuals and the more informed, saw him as a joke. The problem is that it’s not a joke – to him it’s deadly serious, and to those who are too lazy, too uninformed, to radical, too young and too fundamentalist in their make-up, it is all plausible what he says – simply because it plays into anti-semitic sentiments already present. We here may see it, and realize the absurdity of what he says, but I have met far too many in Care2 and elsewhere who actually believe that what he says is true.

Conspiracy theories are very “nice” – because they create a simply picture of complex matters, and they contain enough elements of plausibility to be believable. And they provide people with a scape-goat for the world’s ills. It doesn’t matter if it’s religious conspiracies, political conspiracies or just alien conspiracies – they all serve as proxy for a sense of powerlessness and in the right hands they can be deadly – like the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” which lay the foundation of modern Anti-Semitism, which ultimately lead to the Holocaust.

Conspiracy theories serve as a counter to the sense of powerlessness – if people can “unveil” who is really behind it all, they create a sense of being in control within themselves – if nothing else they have exposed “the enemy” and can rally together with others to do battle on that “enemy”.

The Jewish People have served as the channel for people’s sense of powerlessness for millenia – men of power (and not necessarily political or religious power) have given the public a bone to scramble around, often intentionally to divert attention from their own schemings.

Adrenaline is a very good remedy for hunger-pangs and physical pains. When people are busy slaughtering their neighbors, (or looking for aliens under their beds) they are less likely to notice that their current government is stealing their crops, cattle and wives and imposing heavy taxes on their daily bread. If you are busy looking for the Jew behind it all “cherchez le Juif”, you won’t busy yourself with critical thinking or come up with radical ideas that might pose a threat to the Order of the World.

That’s why T K aka CW is not a joke, not a laughing matter – he is dangerous. He is a pollutant that cause intellectual global warming – he is not alone, but he is one, that is enough for me.

Shalom!

On the matter of Anti-Semitism III

Posted by Henric C. Jensen on May 14, 2007

Basic Tactics of the Radical Far Left

1. Ask Rhetorical Questions or Questions that in it’s body carries one or several assumptions/presuppositions. Example:

“Why do you Zionists support a murderous and genocidal Government?”

The person asking this kind of question isn’t interested in getting an answer. He or she is disguising a truck load of prejudice, presuppositions and logically fallacious assumptions for the purpose of propaganda, in the form of a question. This is a set up that wants its target to start defending him or herself against the numerous allegations brought through those prejudices, presuppositions and logically fallacious assumptions – best answered by pointing out that the question is not a real question, like I just did. Note that “Zionist” is a RFL buzzword for “Jew” or someone either married to a Jew or not having displayed enough Anti-Israeli sentiments throughout the debate.

If you engage in answering the question, the person asking has succeeded in his or her mission, to distract attention from the real debate, which most likely is about some imaginary fact he or she brought earlier. Stick to debunking the fallacies of those facts using objective and verifiable facts from objective sources, and you will be fine. Remember that you are not debating the person behind the posting, you are debating the ideas expressed in the posting.

2. Make blanket statements about Jews and belittle them.

“Get a debate started and you’ll see that the Jews will lose the argument and the sentiment of the public in almost every turn.”

Here’s a blatant Anti-Semitic statement – it really cannot be any clearer than this. The best way to deal with that is to point out that it is a blanket statement that targets all Jewish People.

This kind of statement will surface when there are no other viable arguments accessible to the RFL – next will be the allegation that you are either a Nazi or a Racist. This is a sure sign that you have those people backed into a corner. You can safely leave the debate knowing that you did well.

3. Refuse to answer any questions pertaining to the issue – such as the source of their facts, and countering with more None-Question like above.

This is staple food for the RFL, especially if the person you are debating is not particularly intelligent or capable of gleaning information from diverse sources. Chances are that they have not understood your questions – chances are also that they have understood your questions, but doesn’t like the answers they come up with, and don’t want to be caught being incorrect. Most likely they are refusing to answer your questions as an attempt to silence you through ignoring you, at the same time try to make you look bad by bombarding you with questions based in prejudice, presuppositions and logically fallacious assumptions. Keep pointing out that they are not answering your questions – list your questions so that it becomes clear exactly what they do not want to answer – again remember that you are not debating the person behind the posting, you are debating the ideas expressed, and each post they make gives you an opportunity to debunk those ideas. That is why you are debating them.

4. Cut and paste News articles from sources that are viciously Anti-Semitic/Anti-Zionist, along with pictures that has little or nothing to do with the objective Topic of the debate.

This is the most aggressive tactic in their arsenal – apart from personal attacks and accusations of being a Nazi/Racist – and they have only one purpose: To derail any intelligent debate and appeal to iemotions. Those Cut and Paste Bombings are often given highly aggressive and unfactual Titles, intended to grab attention and steer the discussion away from rational arguments in to the quagmire of “defense/attack”.5. “Two wrongs always make One right” or “They did it first…”.

They will defend the use of terrorism by pointing out that Israel or Groups of Jewish people have in the past acted similarly, often accompanying their assertions with references to the Stern-Gang, Lehi and Irgun, using past incidents as justification for present acts of terrorism against Jews and Israel. They will, when the irrelevance of those references are pointed out, claim that you are supporting Israeli Military Terrorism against the defenseless Palestinian People, who are just defending themselves, and because you do that, Palestinian terrorism is naturally justifiable and right.

6. Re-Defining established definitions of concepts such as “Genocide”, “Anti-Semitism” “Terrorist”.

Genocide, in the vocabulary of the RFL, becomes any harm to or death of a Palestinian, regardless of who killed or why. Anti-Semitism in their dictionary has little or nothing to do with hate of the Jewish People. It now means “hatred for any person belonging to the Semitic language Group, EXCEPT the Jews…”. Terrorist is no longer a person that carries out acts of Terrorism against innocent civilians, iit is proud, patriotic and g-dfearing “freedom fighter” who is only doing what he or she needs to to achieve his or her goal – in this case the utter annihilation of the Jewish People.

On the matter of Anti-Semitism

Posted by Henric C. Jensen on May 11, 2007

The matter of if some people are Anti-Semites or not – that issue originally came up in HRN after one poster repeatedly expressed himself in a manner that was clearly Anti-Semitic, and it got progressively worse as this was pointed out. For me the Issue of Israel/Palestine, as a matter of discussion doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with Anti-Semitism per se. But when Anti-Semitic sentiments, expressions and ideas are laid open in such discussions, I again see it as my human duty to object. Unfortunately for some, there are strong elements of Anti-Semitism in what is generally called Anti-Zionism. When such elements surface, I again see it as my human duty to point this out and object.

It is rather easy to see why there would be Anti-Semitic sentiments incorporated in Anti-Zionism. It is rather logical – Zionism in its simplest form is the political, and for some religious, struggle to create and maintain a National Homeland for the Jewish people. To be against this, i.e to be Anti-Zionist, ultimately means that one is against the rights of the Jewish People to have a Homeland, a Nationality, something that is clearly stated in UDHR Article 15 “Everyone has the right to a nationality.” Thus one is ultimately against the Jewish People, because one wants to deny them their human rights.

It is regrettable that the Left, which has traditionally stood for equal rights for all, has in so many ways become allies with the Right on the issue of the Jewish People. I am fully aware that this is not true for most people on the Left, but it is certainly true for the Radical Far Left. In its endeavor to bring justice to the Palestinians and make sure they got their Homeland, the Far Left forgot that on both sides are People with the same basic rights.

While one can justifiably and rightly bring criticism against the Israeli Government and those that command the IDF – and believe it or not, Israelis are usually the first to do so, which can be seen in the current National Criticism of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Defence Minister Amir Peretz, holding ALL Israelis, ALL Jews and ANYONE who choose to support the idea of a Jewish National Home responsible for the actions of a few can hardly be called justifiable or right. It is this that makes the Anti-Zionism embraced by the Radical Far Left Anti-Semitic, and those holding to those ideas Anti-Semites.

As is often the case with Radical Movements, the Radical Far Left uses bigger words, harsher tones, extreme hyperbole, inaccurate comparisons and one-sided arguments when they want to bring the issue of Israel/Palestine to the fore. In doing so they risk stepping over a line that, whether they intend to or not put them in the same boat with the Extreme Far Right on the issue of the Jewish People. It is not uncommon that information is collected from Web Sites and Literature that is used by both Movements. Nor is it uncommon that information is collected from Web Sites that, without being directly connected to the Far Right, use the same Anti-Semitic jargong as those. One such examlpe of similarities in argumentation and sentiments is Jewwatch.com and Ziopedia.org – the former is decidely Extreme Far Right, the latter is decidedly Extreme Far Left – and both contain similar lists of Anti-Semitic documents, such as the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

By allying itself with the Extreme Far Right in this manner, the Radical Far Left looses not just its credibility as a voice for Human Rights for ALL, but it also in many ways become that which its claims to be objecting to. There really was no difference between The Dictatorship of General Franco and the Dictatorship of Chaiman Mao, in terms of Anti-Semitism and Human Rights.

It is ironic that many of the first Leftists were Jewish, because if they were alive today I doubt they would recognize very much of their ideas in what has become the Radical Far Left.

Shalom!

On the matter of Anti- Semitism II

Posted by Henric C. Jensen on May 6, 2007

A guy, whom I see as one of the most insidious Anti-Semites in Care2 posted this little Gem:

“here i am, the world’s newest Jew. Since I can be atheist and jew, I have chosen to be so. I don’t have a jewish mother. I don’t have any Jewish relatives. And since Dov so claerly explained what a Jew is in another there si nothing anyone, including he and Ket, can say to take away my right to be Jewish. I swear I’ll try and sustain a high moral quality, for I wouldn’t want to be a lazy Jew or an embarrassment to Jews worldwide. I swear, I’ll read my 2 favourite Jews all over again—Marx and Chomske. But they are infidels. maybe I shouldn’t. Darn it’s so difficult to be Jewish.

But, as we all know, tell me off a bit too much, and I’ll use the anti-Semite card for anything even remotely resembling you saying anything 10 times removed about Israel or Jews or Judaism or Zionazis. So beware. i have a trumped deck—yep, 53 cards.

So now I can be better able to spew hate and pull out my card when attacked. The beauty of itall. No wonder […] and Dov love being jewish. You can’t lose. YET.

Maybe I should change my name from […] to “proud special status person”. I think we should have our own private Semite parking spaces and anyone we don’t like who parks in them should be called an anti-Semite and be duly punished by having their license revoked till it is reviewed by a Zionist triumverate to see if the infidel in the space is worthy of having his permit back.

I’m gettinmg so many ideas. That’s all for now.”

You might wanna take that up with a Rabbi – see you need a Rabbi for a formal conversion to be Jewish unless you were born by a Jewish Mother… so whatever you say – you’re not Jewish, and I doubt you’d ever pass through the eye of the needle – you’d fall flat on your face, stumbling on your own insincerity…and arrogance.

For the record: I said “The only way you can be or become Jewish is either through birth or conversion.” – you are using […]’s definition of who is Jewish, not mine – and […] isn’t Jewish, so her definition really doesn’t matter.

You can call yourself whatever you want […], but the rest of us all know that this is just another of your attempts at insulting the Jewish People. An anti-semite through and through.”

There was a lot of rattling and shaking of fists – and then the thread was brought back to some resemblence of order.

“I did not attack anyone on the first post. i simply put down in an overdone manner what you nad some others say. Show me where I have insulted anyone.”

Like I said – you calling yourself a Jew is an insult to the Jewish People – the entire post is an insult to the ENTIRE Jewish People. I don’t expect a man of limited resources as yourself to see that, but all in this thread, except you, have agreed on this – don’t you see that? Or is the fact that we all here, except you, are in agreement on this some sign to you that you are right, and no insult has been made by you?

“I attempted to show how Jews are seen by others and why they are seen in this way.”

And the reason that Jews are seen this way by others is because of Anti-Semitism. I know, you probably don’t believe me, but it is the plain truth. Those sentiments that you expressed through your “parody” are so deeply Anti-Semitic and go back in history so far that it is hard to know just where it started. To understand how those sentiments are Anti-Semitic, one has to understand the Jewish mind, one has to understand Jewish History from a Jewish point.

“The problem most people have with “jewish” is that it is unclear what a jew is and it goes deeper than having a Jewsih mother and being converted. The problem is that you also say that it is a religion, an ethnicity, and a culture. You also say that I can be an atheist and a Jew.”

Yes. Why is that a problem? It is all of the above – and the only requirement for being Jewish is that you are either born by a Jewish Mother or converted.

What makes you Canadian/Greek? What makes a Palestinian a Palestinian? How do you know that you are YOU?

It is only a problem if you want it to be, and if you think it is important to define someone as Jewish or Greek/Candian or Palestinian. Otherwise it is really irrelevant.

“but people make it relevant.”

Yes, and that is Anti-Semitism, it is ethnic/cultural/religious profiling, and that is racism, and racism directed at the Jewish people is called Anti-Semitism.

“They use religion to start wars and hate. Greek is not a religion. It is an ethnicity and a culture.”

Most Jews do not consider themselves religious, even if they practice Jewish religious and cultural Traditions, the Religion is inseparable from the Jewish Culture and Ethnicity, just as the Culture and Etnicity are inseparable from the Religion – which makes it an Identity, where all those parts are inseperable. Atheist Jews still practice Judaism.

“That’s where the problem lies with Judaism.”

It is a problem only if you make it a problem. The Arabs made it a problem for 1400 years. The Xians have made it a problem for over 2000 years, before that the Romans made it a problem, before that the Assyrians and the Babylonians made it a problem, and before that Egypt made it a Problem. The World in one form or another, regardless of who was the Ruler at the time has made the Jewish People a problem for themselves and the Jewish People, and that, […], is Anti-Semitism. Now you are making it a Problem – when there really is no problem.

For Millenia people have said: “if only the Jews weren’t Jewish, there wouldn’t be a Problem, for them or Us”.

The Modern Times version of this is very well expressed by Andrew Winkler, the Editor in Chief of Ziopedia.org

“In that sense, there is no such thing as a good Jew. For a Jew to become a valuable human being, they must recant Jewishness and become what’s known as former or recovering Jew. They must embrace unreservedly the rest of mankind as their equals, regardless of their heritage, nationality, religion or race. They must become Earthians, no more and no less.”

Note phrasing that implies being Jewish is a disease, something to recover from, like the plague. This kind of reasoning is no better than the reasoning used by Fundamentalist Xians when they attack Gays. In fact it’s exactly the same…

At least he’ll allow us to live – most other have taken their best shot at exterminate us to solve “the Jewish Problem”.

The guy I quoted in the beginning of this Blog Entry also said this:

“I thought it was time to bring up the Jewish question in order to see what behaviour would come out of it and how appreciated it would be in a progressive group.”

“The Jewish Question” – by all means put us back in the 19th and early to mid 20th centuries…

“A famous negative reply to the issue was penned by Bruno Bauer, The Jewish Question, (Braunschweig, 1843). he askes the question “The German Jews desire emancipation. What kind of emancipation do they desire? Civic, political emancipation.”

Karl Marx answers:

“The social emancipation of the Jew is the emancipation of society from Judaism.

A phrase that has been misunderstood and misused by the Radical Far Left to mean “The social emancipation of the Jew is the emancipation of society from the Jews.Andrew Winkler hooks onto this misinterpretation of Marx’s words, demanding that the Jew stop being Jewish in a cultural and ethnic sense as well as religiously – but that is not what Karl Marx was saying. He wasn’t an Anti-Semite, nor was he a self-hating Jew – For Marx being Jewish is an Identity, i.e it is something he IS (even if he converted to Catholicism) – he never denied being Jewish. Karl Marx opposed any kind of Religion, also the Jewish Religion – but as Religion is not the only signifier for being Jewish (Marx would have known this, being Jewish) Karl Marx has no objection to the Cultural and Ethnic definitions of being Jewish.

Poor Marx, if he only knew that he was being used as an excuse for exterminating his People…

The mistake made here by the Radical Far Left is that they understand “being Jewish” from a Xian mind-set, i.e it’s connected to faith/beliefs – but Karl Marx approaches the issue from a Jewish Mind-set in which beliefs don’t have anything to do with identifying as Jewish.

Shalom!
